Overview
Dr Jintana Sattayasai, studied pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacology at Mahidol University (Thailand) and obtained a PhD in Neurosciences from Monash University (Australia). Currently, she is a full professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. She had over 60 papers published based on natural products and NCE’s for the treatment of memory impairment, Parkinson’s disease, alcohol addiction, pain, IBD and erectile dysfunctions. In collaboration with clinicians, 3 clinical studies with chemically defined natural products were evaluated in patients, including andrographolides in ED patients and rice bran oil in DM type 2 patients.
