Overview
Dr. Ramesh Narayanan has 20 years of research and development experience in academia and biotech in the USA. Dr. Narayanan received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and MBA in global business. He was trained in molecular and cellular biology at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX. He joined GTx, Inc. as a Senior Scientist and moved up the ladder to become Director of Drug Discovery. He transitioned back to academia in 2014 as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and as the Director, Center for Cancer Drug Discovery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He has published over 40 peer reviewed publications and book chapter and is an inventor in over 50 patent applications.
